Prior to opening her private practice in 2022, Katie gained over ten years of clinical work experience with individuals, couples and families across several programs including Hammond Care, Department of Communities & Justice, Brighter Futures, the Paediatric Developmental Program and Bushfire Recovery Program at Royal Far West. Katie continues to provide supervision, training and support to allied health staff at Royal Far West with a particular focus on supporting the development of their parenting programs and understanding of systems thinking.
Katie has been providing individual and group professional supervision for the past five years and it has become an increasing interest of hers. She enjoys walking alongside fellow Social Workers and Therapists, supporting thoughtful and critical thinking in relation to their work - encouraging a deeper connection between theory and practice. She also enjoys assisting clinicians to explore their own family of origin and how this can improve and refine the service we provide clients.
